OUR CLUB

The Devonport Football Club is a united place supporting players, family and community.

The DFC is the destination club for the greater Devonport region. The club is successful on and off the field and respected and valued by the community for its positive influence.

We are the current NWFL Club Champions- something we are immensely proud of.

In 2022, over 250 young people participated in the club’s programs. We have nine teams - starting with the under 12 juniors. We have three female team U13, Youth Girls and Seniors. In 2022 we will again be represented at the NWFL community competition. We have consolidated the club in this competition to ensure that the city has a strong and stable club for the hundreds of kids in our community, for many years to come.

Kurt Byard is continuing his role of NWFL Seniors Coach. Kurt has a long history of involvement in football. He is an experienced player and coach at both senior and junior level. After guiding the club to the senior Premiership in 2021 he is continuing to lead a stable group. He is focused on the opportunity to improve and build depth within the Club's playing ranks and defend the cities title.

The talent is clearly within our club. We have built a significant platform for the club in future years based on local players and growing our own. We must ensure that we support and challenge our players to become the very best they can be, both on and off the field by providing the right balance of people, facilities and structure for them.
