Welcome to the Oval As one of Tasmania's oldest football clubs we were
initially known as Formby from 1881 until 1890. On 6 March 1890 the club was formally
re-constituted under the name of the Devonport Football Club.
The Only club in Australia to have a sister relationship with the AFL's
Mighty Magpies the Collingwood Football Club. We field three teams in the NTFL
division, an under 17 team in the AFL Under 17 competition and a under 14 team in the AFL Under 14 competition.
We have one of the best football surfaces in the land and our facilities around
the ground and in the clubrooms are the envy of many regional clubs.
